Eddie Alcazar is an American film director, writer, producer, and game developer. His most recent feature, Divinity, a sci-fi tour-de-force starring Stephen Dorff and produced by Stephen Soderberg, premiered at Sundance in 2023. His previous feature-length thriller, Perfect, was executive produced by Soderberg. His documentary, TAPIA, which follows the five-time world boxing champion boxer of the same name, was executive produced by 50 Cent. Other recent projects include the award-winning and AICP Shortlisted commercial, Everlast Astral, and the Berlin Fashion Festival-winning Versace spot, Bright Crystal. His recognitions include first place in the Worldwide Art and Design Competition for a scholarship to the Academy of Art University, where he studied VFX and Animation Film Theory. He was also named one of the 25 up-and-coming faces in Hollywood by Filmmaker Magazine and one of the Best New Directors in America by Shoot Magazine.
