Jesse Lewis-Reece is a BAFTA-nominated, award-winning writer/director from Brighton. Working across Narrative Film and Television Commercials, his work has been screened worldwide across renowned festivals and award shows. His stories of empathy and interconnectedness speak to the depth of human experience. Jesse’s first film, Bleach, earned a British Film Institute Flare, The Iris Prize, and four Royal Television Society Awards, including the Special Judge’s Jury Award and Best Drama. His second short film, Eyelash, was nominated for a BAFTA award, garnered five Gold Screen awards at the 2020 Young Director Awards at Cannes Lions, four Golds at Berlin Commercial, and a host of selections at major film festivals. In addition to his stellar narrative work, he has helmed commercials for Sky Sports, Frontline, Allergan, and a recent film for the Royal National Institute of Blind People, which earned five 2023 British Arrow nominations.
