Patricia Riggen is a filmmaker who showcases the humanity behind every character in a story, no matter the genre, scope, or medium. After a series of successful film projects, Patricia recently ventured into directing for television with equal success. Her most recent TV work can be seen in Hulu’s limited series Dopesick, which she directed alongside Barry Levinson and Danny Strong. She also recently directed episodes for the critically acclaimed Apple TV anthology series Little America and the Hulu Series Saint X, to be released in 2023. Patricia has directed pilot episodes for Fox’s Proven Innocent, CBS’s Surveillance, and Blumhouse’s Run For Your Life. She also directed three episodes in the first season of the acclaimed Amazon Studios action series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, starring John Krasinski. Patricia began her career as a writer for television documentaries and executive director for the Mexican Film Institute. She earned a master’s degree in directing at Columbia University. Born in Mexico, she now lives with her family in Los Angeles.
